Emotional support comes in many forms. It’s not just speaking kind words to someone who’s going through a tough time. Emotional support also can be found in feeling good physically.
emotional support through treatment
When we hear someone has to go through chemotherapy our minds immediately go to awful sickness.
It doesn’t have to be that way!
Side effects of treatment can be minimized with proper body fuel, detox, and natural support.
Imagine your family member going from being on the couch sick for 3 days following round one of treatment to a ‘little tired’ after round two AND being able to attend family Thanksgiving (which was not even a thought after round one experience).
This is a testimony from a client who recently made changes to her diet, incorporated a daily detox practice, and used essential oils to make a profound difference from being sick and defeated to feeling good and finding joy in family gathering.
Being able to attend a family holiday while going through chemotherapy is priceless. Not only did she feel good, the emotional relief this provided her is invaluable and her family was thrilled.
3 Ways to find emotional support when going through chemotherapy:
Establish a detox protocol to support the body before, during, and after treatment. There are safe and effective ways to support the body’s detoxification process naturally. Below are two ways to help support the detox process:
Epsom salt baths daily: baths can also help ease stress, improve sleep and concentration, release muscle tension/cramps, and improve nutrient absorption.
Mix 2 cups epsom salt, 1 cup aluminum free baking soda, 3 drops Rosemary essential oil and 3 drops Juniper Berry essential oil. Soak for at least 20 mins.
Caster oil pack over the liver daily: caster oil packs offer lymphatic circulation while absorbing the oil to provide a soothing, cleansing and nutritive experience. Other conditions which seem to respond well include headaches, liver disorders, constipation, and inflamed joints.
Queen of Thrones brand is my recommendation. Apply a layer of caster oil over a cloth and place the pack over the liver (right side of abdomen). Apply heat and let sit for 45 minutes.
Fuel the body with the right nutrients especially during stressful times and treatments. Healthy fats, leafy greens, bone broth are just some of what provides the necessary fuel the body needs. Eliminating sugar and processed foods allows the body to detox and heal quicker.

There are many ways to incorporate the benefits of essential oils into a daily routine from reducing anxious feelings, supporting the immune system, minimizing side effects of treatment to protecting your cells from future harm. Below are 3 ways you can implement essential oils easily:
Use Peppermint, Ginger, and Digestive Blend topically and internally before and after treatment or surgery.
Add Lemon oil to water daily to support the detoxification process.
Topical application (bottom of feet is my favorite) of my daily immune blend with Frankincense.
